Graham Gillmore (Vancouver, Canada, 1963) studied at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, in Vancouver. In the year 1985 he participated in a collective titled "Young Romantic", an exhibit that made him internationally recognized as an emblematic figure in contemporary painting.

In 1999 he became part of Cinco Continentes (Five continents), a city within the museum, of Mexico City. He had a solo show in the Mary Boone Gallery of New York, in the Gallery Fucares of Madrid, in Gallery Cardi of Milan and the Nicolo Sprioveri Gallery of London. His work has been acquired by prestigious art collectors, such as the Ghent Museum in Belgium and the Collection of Gian Enzo Sperone in Italy.
