Bonnie Seeman takes natural forms to create her ceramics that are unique hand made pieces. These pieces are baroque and morbid vessels, big plates and jugs; but if we watch closely, they are in fact reproductions of tendons, muscles, veins and bones. Seeman creates a dialogue between attraction and repulsion that comes from the soft forms of flowers and plants and from the harsh anatomic representation. Trough her work, the artist refers to surviving processes.
